Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide holding a sign tag with your name.
After a short briefing, begin your comfortable transfer to Arusha, the heart of Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. The drive takes you through open landscapes, small towns, and vibrant local markets, with clear views of Mount Meru on a bright day. Your guide will introduce you to Tanzania’s culture, wildlife, and upcoming safari plans along the way. Upon arrival at your lodge, check in and relax in the peaceful surroundings, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the exciting adventure that awaits the following day.

Day 2

Arusha to Lake Manyara National park

After breakfast in Arusha, set off on a picturesque drive through Maasai villages and the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment toward Lake Manyara National Park. As you descend into the park, lush groundwater forests welcome you with troops of baboons and blue monkeys, while elephants roam beneath towering fig trees. Your game drive continues across open plains where giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and buffalo graze, and along the lakeshore where hippos wallow and flamingoes' shimmer in pink. Keep your camera ready for the park’s adventurous tree-climbing lions resting on acacia branches. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature before continuing your exploration, experiencing the park’s remarkable diversity of landscapes-from dense forest to open savannah and alkaline lake—before heading to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 3

Karatu to Lake Natron

After breakfast, get on an exciting safari drive heading to Lake Natron, a remote and striking landscape in northern Tanzania. The journey winds through the Great Rift Valley, passing expansive plains dotted with acacia trees, volcanic hills, and traditional Maasai villages where locals continue their centuries-old way of life.

Upon arrival, experience the alkaline lake’s vibrant pink waters, especially during flamingo season, creating a surreal spectacle against the backdrop of the dramatic Ol Doinyo Lengai, the sacred “Mountain of God.” Explore the surrounding terrain with a short hike to see the waterfalls, Sunset Walk by the lake with soaring flamingoes, Girrafes and birdlife unique to this area.

This safari combines breathtaking scenery, wildlife encounters, and an authentic glimpse of Maasai culture, making it a truly adventurous and unforgettable experience.

Day 4

Lake Natron to Arusha National Park

After an early breakfast at Maasai Giraffe, set off on a scenic safari drive toward Arusha National Park, passing through the picturesque Great Rift Valley, volcanic highlands, and traditional Maasai villages where cattle graze on the rolling plains.

Upon arrival, begin a 1 - 2 Hours game walking safari through the park’s diverse landscapes, then Continue with Game drive from lush montane forests to open savannahs and crater lakes. Spot giraffes gracefully feeding, buffaloes roaming in herds, zebras grazing, and playful colobus monkeys swinging through the trees.

Keep your eyes peeled for smaller wildlife and a rich variety of birds, including flamingos along the lakeshores. The majestic backdrop of Mount Meru enhances every photo opportunity. After an adventurous day of wildlife viewing, return to your lodge to relax and reflect on the beauty and diversity of this compact but memorable park.

Day 5

Arusha to Materuni Waterfalls to Departure

After a Nice breakfast from your hotel, depart for a scenic drive to Materuni Waterfalls on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a guided hike through lush forests and coffee plantations, discovering local Chagga culture along the way. Reach the stunning waterfalls, perfect for photos and a refreshing dip. After the visit, return to Arusha or directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure, concluding your memorable Tanzanian safari adventure.
