Day 1

Arrival in Arusha – Transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha airport, you will be warmly received and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Take the afternoon to relax and settle in after your journey. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and overnight at your comfortable accommodation, preparing for the safari adventure ahead.

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast baobab‑dotted savannah and one of the largest elephant populations in East Africa. Enter the park and enjoy a full game drive through grasslands and along the Tarangire River. Look for elephants bathing, giraffes browsing treetops, lions resting under shade, and a variety of antelopes. The river is a focal point for wildlife, especially during the dry season when animals gather to drink. A picnic lunch in the bush enriches the safari experience. In the late afternoon, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Eileen's Trees inn – Serengeti National Park

Depart after breakfast for the iconic Serengeti National Park. Drive across the picturesque African landscapes toward the endless plains of the Serengeti, stopping for game viewing as wildlife sightings allow. The Serengeti is famed for its vast herds, resident predators, and seasonal movements—this is classic safari terrain where you may see lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and more. Arrive at your camp in the late afternoon, enjoy dinner, and settle in for your first night in this remarkable wilderness.

Transfer Distance: ~300 km (from Tarangire area to central Serengeti)
Estimated Driving Time: ~6–7 hrs (including game viewing en route).

Day 4

Full Day Safari in Central Serengeti

Rise with the sun for a full day of game drives in the heart of the Serengeti National Park. Today offers extended wildlife exploration across open plains, kopjes, riverine areas, and savannah. Morning and afternoon drives maximize your chances of seeing a wide range of wildlife—lion prides stalking prey, graceful giraffes feeding on acacia, herds of wildebeest and zebra, and elusive leopards resting on rocky outcrops. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your adventure through this iconic ecosystem. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and head toward the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into this unique caldera for a game drive on the crater floor—one of the greatest wildlife viewing arenas on the continent. The crater’s rich grasslands, forests, and soda lake are home to elephants, lions, hippos, buffaloes, and the rare black rhino competing for space in the dense wildlife population. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool and continue your morning game drive before ascending the crater rim in the afternoon. Proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn.

Day 6

Lake Manyara National Park to Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic and diverse park nestled beneath the Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a game drive through lush forests, open plains, and along the lake’s edge. Look for the famous tree‑climbing lions, troops of baboons, large herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and abundant birdlife, including flamingos when in season. After your safari, depart for Moshi, a pleasant town near Mount Kilimanjaro, for dinner and overnight.

Transfer Distance: ~150 km (Lake Manyara to Moshi)
Estimated Driving Time: ~3–4 hrs.

Day 7

Materuni Waterfall & Kikuletwa Hot Spring

After breakfast, depart for the lush foothills of Kilimanjaro to visit the beautiful Materuni Waterfall. Enjoy a guided walk through coffee farms and tropical forests to the waterfall where you can take in the cool spray and natural beauty. Following this, relax at the crystal‑clear Kikuletwa Hot Springs, soaking in the warm springs’ turquoise waters. Afterward, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight.

Transfer Distance: ~90 km (Moshi to Materuni & Kikuletwa + to airport)
Estimated Driving Time: ~3–4 hrs total.

To reserve the trip, we require 50 % down payment by bank transfer or credit card. The 2nd payment of 50 % has to be paid 3 months before the start of the trip.

 

Bank Transfer costs have to be covered by the payee. 3% credit card processing fee will apply to all card payments.
