Day 1

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is a scenic gem located along the Great Rift Valley in northern Tanzania. Despite its relatively small size, the park boasts remarkable ecological diversity, ranging from groundwater forests and open grasslands to acacia woodlands and the alkaline lake itself. It is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and impressive elephant populations. The lake attracts thousands of flamingos and other bird species, making it a paradise for bird lovers. Visitors can enjoy game drives, birdwatching, and breathtaking views of the escarpment, all within a compact and easily accessible area.

Day 2

Manyara to Tarangire National Park to Arusha

Tarangire National Park is one of the Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife destinations, located in the northern safari circuit. The park is best known for its large elephant herds, often seen gathering along the Tarangire River, the main water source during the dry season. It is also famous for its iconic baobab trees that dominate the landscape and create a striking, unique scenery. Tarangire hosts a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and numerous antelope species. Birdlife is abundant, with over 500 species updated, making it ideal for birdwatching. Less crowded than other parks, it offers a more peaceful and authentic safari experience.
