Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast savannah, iconic baobab trees, and large elephant herds. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive along the Tarangire River, the park’s main water source, which attracts a high concentration of wildlife. Expect to see elephants in large numbers, as well as lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. The park offers a quieter and more authentic safari atmosphere compared to others. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the late afternoon, transfer to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Martinas Retreat - Ngorongoro Crater to Central Serengeti

After an early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater and descend into this wildlife-rich caldera for a morning game drive. Expect to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, and possibly the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater in the afternoon.

Continue your journey to Serengeti National Park, where the landscape opens into endless plains filled with wildlife. Game viewing begins en route with chances to see giraffes, zebras, and predators. Arrive at camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Central Serengeti National Park

Depart early from your camp for a morning game drive in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Witness the plains come alive with wildlife at their most active, spotting lions, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeest, and zebras in their natural habitat. After a rewarding morning of safari adventure, enjoy breakfast at the camp before departing for Karatu in the afternoon. Travel through scenic highlands of Ngorongoro and local villages, arriving at Matrina Retreat for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Karatu - Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse park located beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a game drive through lush forest, open plains, and lakeshore habitats. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, and abundant birdlife, including flamingos. This final day offers a relaxed and scenic safari experience, perfect for concluding your journey. After lunch, depart for Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
