Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Circuit. Settle into a tranquil environment surrounded by lush gardens, ideal for relaxation after your international journey. Depending on arrival time, enjoy the lodge facilities or unwind at leisure. In the evening, receive a detailed safari briefing outlining your upcoming adventure, ensuring a smooth and well-prepared start to your experience.

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem renowned for its vast elephant population and iconic baobab landscapes. Enjoy a full-day game drive through diverse habitats, following the life-giving Tarangire River where wildlife gathers in impressive numbers. Expect sightings of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and predators such as lions and leopards. A picnic lunch will be served within the park, allowing uninterrupted wildlife viewing before heading to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 3

Tarangire – Central Serengeti National Park

Depart early for the legendary Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Your game drive begins immediately upon entry, offering opportunities to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas alongside vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. This transition day combines spectacular landscapes with rewarding wildlife encounters, arriving at your camp in time to experience the magic of the African sunset.

Day 4

Full Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti

Dedicate a full day to exploring Central Serengeti, one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich ecosystems. This region is famed for its high concentration of predators and year-round game viewing. Track lions resting under acacia trees, elusive leopards in riverine forests, and cheetahs scanning the plains. Large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles provide constant movement across the landscape. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, maximizing your time in the field while immersing yourself in the rhythm of the wild.

Day 5

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Area

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti, when wildlife activity is at its peak and predators are often seen on the move. After breakfast, continue with a scenic transfer game drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying continuous wildlife sightings across the plains. As you leave Serengeti behind, ascend gradually into the cooler Ngorongoro Highlands, where the landscape transforms into lush greenery and rolling hills. Arrive near the crater rim in the afternoon, offering spectacular panoramic views and a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. Continue with a drive towards the nearest town of Karatu for overnight.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara

Day 7

Lake Manyara National Park – Transfer to Arusha & Flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive in this compact yet diverse park, known for its lush groundwater forest, open plains, and alkaline lake. Enjoy sightings of elephants, hippos, giraffes, large troops of baboons, and a variety of birdlife including flamingos along the lakeshore. After the game drive, proceed with a transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Stone Town for evening leisure.

Day 8

Zanzibar Beach Leisure

Optional activities include snorkeling, diving, spice tours, or traditional dhow cruises. This day is designed for complete relaxation, providing a perfect balance after your safari adventure while immersing yourself in the island’s tranquil tropical setting.

Day 9

Departure from Zanzibar

After breakfast, enjoy your final moments in paradise before transferring to Zanzibar Airport for your onward international flight. Depending on your departure time, relax at the resort or take a final stroll along the beach. This marks the end of your carefully curated journey, combining Tanzania’s iconic wildlife experiences with the serene beauty of Zanzibar, leaving you with lasting memories of both adventure and relaxation.
